1 | The fruitlessness of fighting | 1 Sam 17:47 | Mary01 | 121162 | ||
Hi Sir Pent, I liked your biography, very well written. Just wondering though, when you say "fighting" do you mean "fighting"? Let's say you lived in Czechoslovakia and Poland declared war on your country. And too let's say you are good Baptist. And your fleshly brother who also is a good Baptist, is a citizen of Poland. He has joined the war effort. Would you "fight" your brother? I really would like a well thought out answer to this as it's important to me, with scriptures. Mary01 |

"Czechoslovakia (Èeskoslovensko in Czech and in Slovak) was a country in Central Europe that existed from 1918 until 1992 (except for the World War II period). On January 1, 1993, it split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia." ____________________ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czechoslovakia |

Hi Kalos, Thank you. I couldn't remember what it was called now. I hear about the various Europian countries but don't stay up with it all. Thank you again, educational. Mary01 |

Mary01: You're welcome. And don't feel alone. I can't keep up with all the name changes of the various countries either. Many countries of the world are now called by names different than the names they had back when I was in grade school. And then there are those countries that no longer exist, such as Czechoslovakia, among others. Welcome to the forum. Grace and shalom, kalos |
