Moses' gene pool is understood. Most of the main Hebrew characters in Daniel had both Chaldean and Hebrew names. Is Moses a Hebrew or Egyptian name, i.e. is this the name pharaoh or his parents gave him? Is Gershom a Hebrew or Egyptian name, since his father was Hebrew but his mother was Egyptian. I could not find this info in ISBE or any of my other commentaries. Really appreciate being able to ask my unique questions in this forum. | ||||||
