Scripture tells us there is one God. Scripture also tells us there is God the Father and God His Son Jesus Christ. We also know through scripture there is God the Holy Spirit. The three make up the God head. One God three persons. This is known as the trinity and there is much discussion and debate as man tries to define something that man can't fully understand. |

I have personally become childlike in my understanding in that I see the Word TRINITY (the LORD God Almighty) and the word FAMILY in the same light. Before there were any atoms, or molecules, or any concept of time as we know it today, the Trinity has eternally preexisted and has been surrounded by all the created heavenly hosts, and the Trinity has known those chosen to be brought to glory, in time, with the Family forever. Subsequently, in the beginning of physical creation, the Trinity created all things tangible. God created Humanity in the image of the Heavenly Trinity. And now humanity includes the Divine imprint of the Trinity (Family), both as an individual, and as proceeding from another, and as related to another, but then also surrounded by a host of community, completely separate from, but intimately associated with, each human family. Also, in a well know verse of Scripture, Luke 1:35, everyone was there being represented, the FAMILY, Heaven’s Hosts, and Humanity, when the Angel (Heaven) said to, Mary (Humanity), “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God." So, from this verse, and many others, I see the Father as the Provider and the Protector, the Holy Spirit as the Nurturer and the Comforter, and the Son as the brotherly Friend Who, being raised from the dead and now having tangible flesh and bone, in a sense, has left his father and mother to receive a Bride, who will, in time, also be resurrected to have the same eternal substance of flesh and bone, to become “One Flesh”, as Husband and Wife, FAMILY forever. This mystery is great. (Ephesians 5:32) | ||||||
