Good morning Justme, It was not until after Jesus death that the law covenant was taken away. As we see this at colossians 2:13,14. More specifically Jesus fulfilled the law, colossians 2:16,17 and romans 10:4. Afterward the law of christ came into effect, galatians 6:2. So how are we to know whether the sabbath was included in this fulfillment??? After Paul states, we have been discharched from the law, he went on to refer to one of the ten commandments specifically. We see this at romans 7:6,7. Of course, the sabbath is one of many included in the law. |

Ma'am, might I suggest that you write something about yourself in your profile? This is generally very helpful for the rest of us. For example, if we know that you are Roman Catholic, we will understand that certain questions are already settled for you. Or if you are a Methodist, then we know that much of your theology is rooted in John Wesley's teaching. In this way, we reduce the possibility of bringing offense, and enhance the possibility that we will render appropriate answers for you. :-) | ||||||
