I listen to Christian radio often and was surprised to hear that Jesus believed his people and the Romans could co-exist. Also the radio guest went on to say he believed the Romans would return one day. What evidence is available in scripture to support these ideas. | ||||||

Hi, Glenn... Welcome to the forum! If our Lord had asserted this kind of thing, certainly He would have said so. What an opportunity He had... yet in John 18:36-37, He claims things quite to the contrary. The world hates the King of kings (John 15:18).
