Hello princeofpeace24, Yes, a baby is unable to make a choice, unable to repent and is unable to place its faith in anything, which causes a pause to consider the doctrine of infant baptism. What I have learned since then is that God really could not care less about the teachings and doctrines of man concerning His Church, which is Christ's Body. This has always been an ongoing debate, which just shows our lack of wisdom and lack of trust. John 20:31 says, "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." We would best be served by striving for our own salvation and worrying less about those who are only in the hands of God (o: Lord's Blessings, keliy |
