I have been posting things about my new faith and my journey on face book. my question is should this be done privately or is it ok to be public about what i am going through, learning, feeling. when it comes to my understanding about what i need to do, learn and be? tia

What you share on Facebook becomes public record for all intents and purposes. Therefore at some later date people could use that info to their advantage or to your disadvantage. Just be aware of that. If you are giving God the glory and not bragging on your accomplishments then I don't see a problem. |

I have been posting a gratitude list for a few weeks now and last nights list i said that I'm grateful that i am starting to understand what i'm reading in the bible. so when my friend commented that she was proud of me, i wondered if it could be taken as boasting. under her comment i posted this is only Gods doing, not my work but a gift from God. in my list i said thing about my understanding and the gratitude i have for other believers that i don't have to be perfect in my prayers or how I ask questions, that no one is good at something when they begin. i just hope this is ok. that posting things being unsure if they are correct or if they will be taken the right way. i'm considering keeping a private log of my journey. but on the other hand i want people to see Christ working in me. advice would be appreciated

Hi, Cyndi... If you are beginning to understand the Word, it because of the work of God Himself (1 Corinthians 2:10-12). Pretty cool stuff, isn't it? In Him, Doc |
