Does anyone else here feel "stagnated" in their spiritual growth?

I don't today but I have to admit that I do from time to time. Without exception those times are always preceded by being distracted from Bible study and allowing myself to be more focused on other things. An interesting thing here is that if you look up the word "Stagnate" in the dictionary you will find "cease developing; become inactive or dull...' as part of the definition. Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. We can only walk in them (the good works we were created for) if we know what they are. We can only know what they are by being in fellowship with God through prayerful study of His Word and having fellowship with other believers. I find that when I am feeling "stagnate" it's because I'm not giving proper attention to those things... every single time. |

Exactly. That is really what I have done. Got back to my bible daily reading this morning and much jumped out at me. First thing, nothing can separate or destroy my relationship with Christ. Then, don't forget the assembling with other believers (which I have neglected)and to learn to be content in whatever state I find myself in. It is not God who neglects us, it is us who neglect God. Thanks for your answer and for the scripture as well.
