Hi, jkitchens... The thologian Loraine Boettner wrote, "We are creatures of time, and often fail to take into consideration the fact that God is not limited as we are. That which appears to us as past, present, and future, is all present to His mind." (Note, that this does not mean that all events of history look to God as if they were really in the present -- for God sees events in time and acts in time -- but rather that all time appears to Him with the same clarity as the present appears to us. All of this is difficult for us to understand because it is an existence that is so different from our own.) Remember that time is an artifact, that is, it was created by God.
