1 | Women in charge of the assembly | Bible general Archive 3 | God's-elect | 185515
When true belivers meet in an assembly to worship God why do they suffer women to be in charge of the assembly in light of 1 Cor. 14 verses 34 and 35. I know this is a controversial subject but true believers should not shy away from the truth because it may offend some people. And it is not my intention to offend anyone. I really would like some input on this subject with scripture support.

Since your question seeks the reasoning behind specific actions, namely allowing a woman "to be in charge of the assembly", it needs to be directed to someone who has actually done that. And even so, they could only answer for themselves, and not for all others. As it is framed, we could only speculate on the motivations of others, and I don't think it's reasonable to do so. Love in Christ, Mark |

Mark, Well said. And for me, I would not go to a church with a women pastor and also would not talk down a church that does so. Simple go elsewhere without causing division in the assembly that practices such things. They are free to do as they please and so am I. Thank you for you answer. |
