1 | Are visions/dreams of this sort demonic? | Bible general Archive 3 | buffy1 | 183280
My 12 year old granddaughter, Kylie, has recently been put on Adderal(Ritalin derivative) for attention defecit. She is doing better in school, but now has been saying she is seeing things,- animals, her dead dog, and now is seeing a young pretty girl dressed in a white dress. She told her mother she was afraid at first, but now is not, as she had a dream last night and the girl told her - her name is Lisa Coleman, 8 years old, died in 1987 and was strangled and found in a field. Kylie says she is no longer afraid, convinced they are ghosts that need her help. She also saw the girl today at school standing outside the classroom. Kylie told her mom the girl said she is afraid of light, doesn't like it, and likes to come in darkness. My daugher, Jen, Kylie's mom has Bi-Polar Disorder, and leans towards doctors. My question is what is your opinion of this situation? I know the deaf mute boy had a spirit that Jesus rebuked. I have been praying for deliverance of these visions/dreams. Thanking you for spiritual help in this situation. |

Dear Buffy - While I intend to pray for your family and the problems that they have, and ask my fellow Forum registrants to join me in prayer, I deem it most unwise for this Forum to attempt to dispense specific advice beyond this: that you or whoever has legal custody of this child get her to a qualified professional as soon as possible. --Hank

Brother Hank, You are right as always on these types of issues. I hope that you and other members will allow for my brief response to Buffy as these issues are everyday familiar to me in my work and I viewed this situation as a potential, immediate risk, and high risk situation for Buffy's young twelve year old granddaughter. While I respect the purpose and intent of the Forum as well as the potential dangers of unintended use of the forum, my professional ethics required some kind of response. Praying patients, Jeff |
