this is not a homework question reading Romans with a group of people and this question came up we found the answer we are just not sure if ewe are going in the right direction. so if you could give us what you think so we can do somes more discussion on this. So could you give specific example of how sins of the body are to be refused and some example of how one offer one's body to God. The Chaper is Romans 6:12-13 |

now one can agree with me that the seen is controlled by the unseen, in other words the physical is controlled by the spiritual. this will now bring me to my point (1)for you to refuse the sin of the body, then you have to walk by the spirit, and also be spirit filled at all times for it is only a christain that has cruxified and ressuracted with christ that can refuse his body from sin, for the spirit will now have to control him. (2)as a believer you have to live by the word God for it is only when the word has found a place in nyour heart and your life that is when you can refuse the sin of the body (the Psalmist said "thy word have i hidden in my heart that i might not sin against thee. |
