Thanks for the note, nevertheless, the person wanted to know about interracial dating/marrying. I did not recommend Dr.Price's book to promote him personally, but to give guidance to the interracial question. Regarless of your personal feelings towards the author...you cannot deny that his teaching on "Race, Religion, and Racism" is one of the most indepts studies ever on the three topics. I have read all three volumes and I have to admit (although I'm not a Fred Price fan myself) he's definately onto something no other preacher seems to want to tough (but sweep under the rug). I personally feel everyone should read his book (especially whites). It is very enlighting to say the least. Thanks for your opinion on Dr. Price. Now, back to the real question: What does the bible say about interracial dating or marrying? |

Vehoka: Nowhere does the New Testament prohibit interracial marriage. Even in the OT, the prohibition against Jews marrying Gentiles was for religious -- not racial -- reasons, i.e., so as not to mingle idol worship with the worship of YHWH and so corrupt Israel. (By the way, I have no personal feelings toward Price. Nor did I post my opinion. What I posted is a quote from www.equip.org/free/DC755-1.htm/) Any and all forms of racism are offensive, reprehensible and just plain wrong. Grace to you, Radioman2 |

Thanks Radioman2, I appreciate your thoughts on the topic of Interracial marriage. I have the same thoughts as you. Believe it or not many try to say it's a sin and compare it to "same sex" relationships or (as you mentioned) "different faiths" relationships. My apologies for thinking your post was your opinion....you might want to put a "disclaimer" on it next time to keep others (like me) from misunderstanding. Blessing2U |
