Dear Latareese, There are three things that God uses for our sanctification: People (Prov 27:17), circumstances (Psalm 119:67), and spiritual disciplines (1 Tim 4:7). Only one of these do you have any real control over, and that's the last of the three. The spiritual disciplines include study of the Word, prayer, meditation, and active participation in a local church. Pray earnestly for your husband. Ask God to show you how to be the kind of wife that will glorify our Lord as you study and meditate on the Word. We will join you in those prayers. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. (Ephesians 5:24) Please note: there are no quick and easy answers. It has taken time to get into the situations we are in... walking with the Lord is to be a long term commitment. In Him, Doc |
