Is the NASB Electronic Bible Library capable of duplicating the exact functions of StudyBibleForum.com? I would like to purchase the exact program of StudyBibleForum.com. I am looking to duplicate the identical functions of StudyBibleForum.com with the NASB text (albeit for my personal notes versus a website). I wish to affix notes to each and every bible verse (30,000 verses) in both linear and threaded response modes. |

Hi Serynn, You can just post a reply to my answer instead of asking a new question:-) I'm not sure the NASB Electronic Bible library is exactly what you're looking for. It does have the capability to add personal notes, but its' format is not that of the SBF. You might want to e-mail Lockman for specifics. The cost for the NASB program is around 49.00. I have it on my computer at work and it's still a very helpful, albeit basic Bible Library! I hope this helps, BradK |

Thanks much. I currently have the NASB text on my computer with PowerBibleCD (which is a different program). However, I'm expressly looking for the capacity to view my notes in linear and threaded modes. The linear mode shows the most recent posts first, whereas the threaded mode serves to topically categorize a series of posts. Standard bible programs do not offer either of these organizational features for notes as this forum does. These notes will eventually be arranged into a book with the posts automatically resequenced. I had desired to post all of my notes in this forum, but it seems that 30,000 of my own notes would overwhelm the forum members here (maybe 100 notes per day). Might you have any idea who exactly I would email for specifics? I often get the Lockman Foundation mixed up with Lockman Publications. |
