Hi, Seedling... The Puritans used to say that Bible reading and meditation were disciplines. Consequently, you should approach it as such. The flesh will resist, as it does to every kind of discipline, especially spiritual ones. Since we are to have an intense love for our Lord, think of it this way: What would your reaction be if your wife said, "I know I'm supposed to listen to you, but I can only really do so when it is interesting." :-) In Him, Doc |
