1 | 700 Club supports Benny Hinn! How ? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 117256
On the 700 Club yesterday (03/31/04 Benny Hinn was praised for his recent revival in India. Hinn claimed to have more than 2 million people in attendance on the last night of the crusade. Hinn was praised by robertson's son and introduced by Pat Robertson and his son conducted the interview. Perhaps I have not paid much attention to the 700 Club in a long time. How long has the 700 club been suportive of this fine evangelist (of false teaching) Benny Hinn? I am saddened that so many are being sucked into this hellish false teacher's webb of eternal deception! Anyone knowing when this deadly combination of false teachings came about? blessings to you all. justme |

justme: There's no doubting from these parts that Benny Hinn is a slick customer, and I don't mean just his hairdo, the maintaince on which would problably keep a family of four in groceries the whole year round. It's fairly easy to see how Pat Robertson could be taken in by Benny's Cheshire grin. Well do I remember the early years of the 700 Club and the much younger Pat Robertson who claimed to possess such extra-sensory perception that he "saw" a lame man being healed in Detroit or a woman with terminal cancer being restored in Miami "at this very moment" and broadcast the assurance to them and to his audience that these miracles were taking place as he spoke. He seems to have toned down somewhat in his mellower, older years. Age may have taken the edge off his former flamboyance, but he and Benny really are cut from the same piece of cloth. I'm therefore not particularly surprised to hear of Pat's endorsement of Benny the Hinn. It's that old deja vu all over again, as Yogi Berra used to say. It's the birds of a feather syndrome. --Hank

The things that he believes in. Hank Hannagraff wrote a book called 'Christianity in Crisis', in this book he gives an insight on some of the doctrinal believe's of Hinn; Copeland; and a couple of others who preach the same doctrine. Hannagraff also has a website: www.equip.org. It's called the Christian Research Institute. They can really supply you with the info. that you're looking for. One of my favorite parts in Christianity in Crisis is how they believed that Adam was a superman. God gave Adam dominion over creation-Gen.1:26. By their beliefs, a man can not have dominion over anything unless he can do what they do. So Adam could swim like a fish, and fly like a bird. LITERALLY fly like a bird. They even went as far to say that Adam flew all over the universe. How's that for doctrinal beliefs?? The CurtMan |
