1 | WHY DON'T WE TEACH THE CROSS? | Bible general Archive 2 | Godman | 92970
WHY IS IT THAT THE CHURCH DENYS AND DISOBEYS THE FAITH? THE CHURCH WAS FOUNDED UPON THE CROSS OF JESUS. THOSE WHO ARE BAPTISED ENTER INTO HIS DEATH AND RESURECTION. THEY ARE SEPERATED FROM THEIR FLESH AND RAISED TO A NEW LIFE IN THE SPIRIT. 1st JOHN 3:9( "WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD DOTH NOT COMMIT SIN; AND HE CANOT SIN BECAUSE HE IS BORN OF GOD.") MY QUESTION IS, WHY DO WE ALL IGNORE THIS? |

Human ignorance and lack of faith; when we are born again we are no longer subject to the curse of sin or the curse of flesh if we choose. Just because we are born again does not mean we will never again sin we have that choice but most generally we dont know that or we ignore sometimes. You need not teach the cross to Born agian believers for that is how there faith was established, the fact that when you are born again you can escape sin but "YOU!!" have to resist it you have to choose to toss away sin thats what must be taught. But God knows we are not perfect and will sin regardless that is why we are forgiven unconditionally. 1John 1:9 |

4 | WHY DON'T WE TEACH THE CROSS? | Bible general Archive 2 | Draco04 | 116868
Romans 1:18-32 talks about how God gives people over to their sinful desires and lets them continue in sin some think this means they can no longer be forgiven when in truth it means that God simply lets you do what u want. By refusing to live by Gods standards they are unforgiven not to say that they couldnt be forgiven if they wanted to but that they have chosen to reject God. So if you sin and continue to sin you will be forgiven as long as you are making an effort and your not trying to compromise with God. The key is simply asking for forgiveness instead of just ignoring sin yes he will continually forgive us. Thank God and i mean that literally |

True our sins have already been forgiven thats why Jesus died on the cross we are just required to confess and acknowledge them its like His way of humbling us by allowing us to acknowledge Him. It's the whole Free Will thing he won't do anything in our lives unless we allow Him to. He will not break His own laws so we must accept and allow him to forgive us or He won't
