SonSpired first understand our final destination is not heaven but rather the New Earth and New Jerusalem. This in fact will be heaven since God and Jesus will be there. Rev chapters 21 and 22. Yes we will one day know all. 1 Cor. 13:10-13 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. [11] When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. [12] For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. [13] And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. |

I understand...our order of destinations, but I have come to realize that when we get to heaven all will be revealed to us according to God's deeming. To know ALL would take away from the sovereignity of God. Do you agree? Do you know what "...known even as i am known..." means from the reference provided in your text? | ||||||

I fail to see why understanding everything from creation to some point in time is taking away from God's sovereignty. By understanding God, Creation, Holiness Justice, Love, Truth and all the other attributes we don’t fully comprehend more fully does not give us omnipresent, omniscient or omnipotent nor does that remove anything from God. I think what Paul is saying is we will know and understand as God knows and understands us. EdB |
