Hi, ladybre... Welcome to the forum! The best teacher exposes the truth, allowing the Word to teach itself. The best thing is not to start with the thesis, but to cull from the Bible the thesis. As you know, from your background, there will be many hours of careful study before you'll be ready for the very short time you will be teaching. Remember the method and taxonomy that you learned in preparing to be a teacher. Those things still apply when you are teaching Bible. The one great advantage you have, though, is that you will be partnering with the Holy Spirit Himself as He uses the Words as a means of grace in the transforming of your students as He sees fit. In Him, Doc |
