What are the alternative identities of Jesus if the virgin birth is denied? According to such a stance would it mean that God himself in Christ did not atone for man's sin? |

Lunatic for making claims that got hinself killed and many of his followers killed. 1 Cor 15:13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised; 1 Cor 15:14 and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain. 1 Cor 15:15 Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. 1 Cor 15:16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; 1 Cor 15:17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 1 Cor 15:18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 1 Cor 15:19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied. |

asken, "If as some claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin does this mean that the only alternative is Jesus had a human father and so was not God? " Yes. Because we believe that Jesus is a Divine Person who took on a human nature, not just a human person, or even a human person who took on a divine nature. How could a human person do that? And could such a person save us by his death? Emmaus |
