Has anyone noticed the flow of the New Testament? What I mean is...it starts out emphasizing the Jews (a continuation of the Old Testament) then during and after the book of Acts we see the Gentiles emphasized (the rest of the way through Paul's writings)...then it turns back to more Jewish in nature for the rest of the New Testament.

DanielSeven With the possible exception of the Book of Hebrews I do not see the turn back to Jewishness that you claim occurs after the Gentiles are accepted in Acts. EdB |

I am not trying to say that there is a turn to Jewishness to the exclusion of Gentiles. Simply that there seems to be alot of Jewish references in the latter NT books. One thought is that the Church will be raptured out and when God finishs what He started with Israel those latter books will be of particular interest to the Jews who come to believe in the tribulation. Notice the emphasis on continuance and the second coming (not the rapture of the Church) of Jesus to earth.

DanielSeven That thought agrees with the Book of Daniel. In there we never see the church age only what transpires with the Jews. so yes I think your right to that extent Revelation is written for the Jews so thier eyes will be opened to the truth when what is going to happen happens. EdB |
