There are many questions in regard to Moses. Was there an Exodus? Probably not. In fact considering the complete lack of any written documentation from egypt it is almost certain there was never an enslavement of Israel by Pharoh. The facts remain that the Egyptians were big braggers . The literature left from the era of the supposed Exodus says absolutely nothing about the Hebrews or even a Moses. Moses and Exodus represent the myths, hopes and dreams of a small group of nomads in the arabian desert. The Hebrews were traveling plunders and theives, murders and scavengers who became a great nation on the backs of victomized Cananites,Hitites etc. Theres your summary of Moses the law-giver |

Chochma In one post you show wisdom in another you post nonsense. If the Exodus never happened then we must tear out the heart of our belief in God. In the Exodus we see the essence of man and of God. Four complete texts document the Exodus and archeological findings are now confirming it's happening. May I suggest you read "The Handwriting of God" (1997) by Grant Jeffrey, Frontier Research Publishing; "The Stones Cry Out" (1997) Randall Price, Harvest house Publishing. These books and many others document archeological proof of the Exodus. EdB |
