1 | modern terms for biblical practice? | Bible general Archive 1 | glory777 | 10854 | ||
I have heard the term "pleading the blood" but never undertood intirely what it means. I have never read it in the bible, but 30 years (or more) ago the term "grossed out" was never heard - it was just a term thought up for being totally disgusted. Could pleading the blood just be an expression for something that is biblical, only termed a different way? Debbie |

When one "pleads" their case in a court of law it means to present an answer to a charge. Rev 12:10 says satan accuses the brethren before our God day and night. I think when people use the term "I plead the blood" they are simply answering those charges. I don't see how that would make the term unscriptural. Hope this helps. God bless! |
