ttreeves I answered your question about Adam and Eve in your first question. Is there such a thing as an unintentional lie? Yes technically when you answer a question with the an mistaken answer you are lying unintentionally. If you were asked what kind of car I drove and you said a Ford because that is what you thought, technically you lied. Many call this a making a mistake. What you should have answered was I don’t know or I think a Ford. We are to let our yea’s be yea and our nay’s be nay. Today offering an opinion seems perfectly acceptable even our right but few if any are willing to accept responsibility for the consequences that our opinions might bring. That is why today’s youth are so willing to accept situational ethics rather than the Bible as their standard. EdB |
