I think Reve chp 22 verse 11 means that people have a choice in following good or evil. Hebrews 12:17 doesn't say Esau is not forgiven. It says he couldn't get his blessing back and would suffer the consequences of that choice. Genesis 6:3 says God will only contend with man during his lifetime on earth, in otherwords you must choose while on earth. So none of these seem to say God sometimes does not forgive truly repentent people. Anyway, back to my original question, what I'm really trying to find out, is why no one can enter heaven until the bowl judgments in Rev. chp 15 and 16 are completed. Can anyone directly and clearly explain what that means and answer that specific question? Chusarcik |

Greetings Chusarcik! I haven't had a chance to read all of the posts on this thread, so forgive me if I repeat someone else's point. :-) I think that it is a mistake to equate an inability to enter the temple in Rev. 15:8 with an inability to enter heaven. The terms do not seem to be synonymous. The point of Rev. 15:8 seems to be to stress God's presence in the judgement (cf. Ex. 40:34-35) and the inability of anyone to prevent these judgements. Why would you equate the temple and heaven? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
