Where can I find a Bible that will give me word for word of what the original translation of the Bible says without any fill-ins. I want to know what the Bible said before all the translations came out. I want one that will be exactly word for word that is written in the English Language. Is it possible to find it? Does it really exits? If so that would bless my heart! Thanks. |

Greetings Peach3000! Unfortunately, anytime you read the Bible, expect for the original languages, you are reading a translation. So there isn't any way for you to read what the original says without learning the languages for yourself. You can purchase what is called an Interlinear Bible (Hebrew or Greek) which will give you only a very basic word for word translation. However, even here you are still reading a translation. :-) Even word for word isn't always the best way though. Sometimes, a language expresses itself idiomatically and most be paraphrased to give the actual meaning. Your best bet is to get an interlinear Bible and use it in conjuction with Strong's concordance and a good reliable modern translation. These together should allow you to do some sound research. I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
