Greetings In God's Hands! The languages of the Bible are as follows: The Old Testament was written in Hebrew with one small segment of Daniel written in Aramaic. The New Testament was written in Koine Greek. The question about the people of Jesus' time is a little more difficult. If you mean in Israel, people spoke Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek. Most of the work spoke their own native languages and Koine Greek. I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
