justme: I do know what you mean when you write: "there is now and will always be tribulation." Often when I speak to people of the great tribulation they will raise the point that you made. And I agree with you when you write: 'I think it will get much worse! The "YET" Jesus refered to has "yet" to come.' In fact the Bible is very specific that there is coming upon the earth a time of unprecedented trouble or tribulation. Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Grace to you, kalos |

Kalos: The point you make, is exactly what I thought I was tring to convay. The tribulation that the Bible is fortelling is unlike anything man kind has ever known. I too have had people say look at this or that and they think we are in the tribulation now. I sigh inside, and wonder how can you bring truth to someone who is adament, because they heard a tv preacher say so. We are a nation of tv bible educated schollars. Wow, that sure is impressive, how many still are sucking on spiritual bottles. Thanks for your input. agape, justem |

Justme You said a mouth full here. "We are a nation of TV Bible educated scholars." How true!!!! Most Christians have never read the Bible and know only what they have seen in movies and on TV from the various TV evangelist. And that my friend is scary. The decide which evangelist to watch by how funny he is or how convicting he can be of others not on how theologically correct he is. They know about Moses and Jesus from the movies Ten Commandments and The Fourth Wise Man none of which was even close to accurate and then they attempt to tell others they are followers of Christ. If they stop at working on the job to “gossip” about Christ and are told to get back to work then they are persecuted for Jesus, and this has to be the tribulation. EdB |
