Greetings Searcher et al! Let's continue to explore this sensitive topic. These might be questions we need to consider: "The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does." 1 Cor 7:4 If our bodies belong to our spouses, do we have any "say" over what is done to our bodies by our partner? How can we be "mutually submissive" if oral sex is a "questionable" practice for one partner? Blessings, Mommapbs |

Scripture ... SoS 2:3; 4:4, 16; 5:1; 8:2; 1 Cor 7:1-6; Heb 13:4 ... Mommapbs, greetings ... I'm going to try to follow the rules of the forum. The context of 1 Corinthians 7:4 is verses 1-6, some add 7. Sex is normal and if I want it, my wife should consent. However, I should be sensitive ... and know her needs and desires. I should never ask if I sense she doesn't want to. The world od the Corinthians was machismo. The man had absolute say. His wife was property. If he wanted sex, he got ... from her, a mistress or prositute. We read that she was on a equal plane and he was only to have sex with her. Hebrews 13:4 bears this out, too. Solomon seems to be speaking of the lovers tasting, eating and drinking of each other's bodies (SoS 2:3; 4:4, 16; 5:1; 8:2). I'm not sure what that means, but it sound like oral sex. Read the book. Hope this helps, Searcher |

mommapbs...I agree with searcher56...at first I struggled with this but after seaching the some scriptures the Lord gave me ease on this...Hebrews 13:4 marriage is honourable in all,and the bed undefiled:but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge...as long as both are concenting not forcing it is undefiled...if there is forcing...well thats not honourable...you dont force someone you love to do something they dont desire to do...I believe it becomes selfishness at that point...God Bless | ||||||
