Greetings Richard! I don't know about listing all of the Pros and Cons, but I've had one as my primary Bible for about 15 years now! I like it and would recommend it. In fact, when I was ordained about 10 years ago, I bought a nice, real leather Life Application Bible for my ordination Bible. It still looks brand new and I use it all of the time. Tim: I am not familiar with the Life Application Bible. But after reading hundreds of your postings, if you recommend it, that is good enough for me. I'll read the description of it in CBD's catalog. I would seriously pay attention to any book you recommended. Grace to you, kalos |

Greetings Kalos! Thanks! :-) I forget how I came across my first Life Application Bible, but I really do like it. I would definitely recommend it, especially for new Christians. I actually don't use the notes much myself, but they are handy - and there are a lot of them. The notes are basically a simple verse by verse commentary. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Hi Richard, I stumbled upon the Life Application Study Bible at Sam's Club several years ago(picked it up and couldn't put it down, figured I should buy it). I love it. It is my main bible. I read it almost every day. Commentary tells of differing opinions on many subjects. As everybody on this forum knows, there are many interpretations for nearly every verse. the commentary shares more than just one, I like that. I wished that it didn't skip some verses in the commentary, that would be the biggest negative in my view.(I have several other study bibles that I then refer to). There are many Charts, Maps, Profiles, a Dictionary/Concordance. In other words, I highly recommend the LASB. Tony |
