1 | SECOND CHANCE | Rev 7:1 | Ric | 90
Revelation 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind should blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads." 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel: 5 from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad twelve thousand, 6 from the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, from the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand, 7 from the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, from the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand, 8 from the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, from the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were sealed. (NAS) These 144,000 "Triblation Saints" are still on Earth after the rapture. They have the seal fo God so they won't be harmed. |

Rev.7;1 teaches that when God judges the earth He will not destroy all of it. God in mercy seals the forty-four thousand which represent the redeemed humanity "the new people of God"-from this chapter we see not all mankind are spared the wrath of God. Only the elect hear the call of the Gospel and are saved. Others are left in their sins and will be judged for their sins on the Day of Judgement.

I like going to the KJV, because the translation is in a dead language, unlike our current English, helps for understanding sometimes. Revelation 14:1-5 King James Version 1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. I hope I can get you to read up on this, try finding the relationship between a woman and a church. In all the letters of the apostle Paul he wrote them to specific churches. When you read those try to think of general term woman as being a church. Here's why I say that, and I'll ask it with a question. Who is the bride of Christ? Now I'll tell you what I believe hopefully it helps. A child is innocent until it becomes mature enough to make a decision for or against Christ. Matthew 19:14 - But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Mark 10:15 - Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 1 John 2:12 - I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. 1 John 2:13 - I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. From this I can faithfully say that children under innocence are saved - they know the Father. Well the same type of innocence is found in the 144,000. Why? They are not found guilty of believing any false teachings from the churches in this day. Remember Woman is a Church, and if they are not found guilty of practicing a corrupt faith, they are as innocent as a child, therefore being saved. Ephesians 5:1 - Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; Why? Again to be innocent of evil. Hope that helps |
