Greetings Pooh Wong! "What is John really trying to say in Revelation?" I really enjoy how you phrased that question! :) I wanted to provide an answer for you that is not based on any particular "belief" or without reverting to a particular word that begins with "E".... I believe that the entire book of Revelation can be summed up in this verse, Rev. 22:20, which provides a fitting conclusion to one of the most popular and controversial books in the entire Bible.. "He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus." We as human beings do not have the capacity to fully understand the entirety of Eternity; having no beginning, having no end, and how important this present time is to us and to all who live.. If I was a prophet, I may be inclined to say to all who will be saved and enter into the Kingdom of Heaven: We haven't seen anything yet! :-) Blessings to you, Makarios |
