1 | Pure joy in Heaven? | Rev 21:4 | prayon | 190522
Revelation 7:9 says that we will recognize all family and loved ones in Heaven. Revelation 21:4 says that there will be no more mourning, crying or pain in Heaven. We also know that those who do not follow Jesus Christ will find their place in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur(Rev. 21:8). I am sure many of us have at least one loved one who if died right now will not be going to heaven. Considering these 3 verses; If we recognize our loved ones in Heaven will we recognize the fact that one is missing and if so how can we have pure joy when we know that one of our loved ones has been cast into the lake of fire?

Verse 3 states: "Now God makes his home with people. He will live with them." Many mistakenly read this as if it states that man makes his home with God and now live with him. This prophecy is the completion of God's purpose for the earth. Verse 2 pictures 'the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.' In this way, thru Christ and his bride, it will be "as if" God is making his home with us. "In that way, God will be all in all." (1 Cor 15:28)
