1 | When do those alive get glorified body? | Rev 20:5 | Chusarcik | 73595
Regarding 1 Thessalonians 4:17 where it says that the Christians who are still alive when Jesus returnswill rise up in the air to meet Jesus the with those who previously died in Christ,do the Christians who are still alive receive their glorified bodies at that time or after the 1,000 year Millinneum? Thanks, Chusarcik
2 | When do those alive get glorified body? | Rev 20:5 | Searcher56 | 73596
Scripture ... 1 The 4:13-17, Rev 20:4-6 ... Chusarcik, I believe there will be two resurrections. Unless we are beheaded, we will wait for the second ... after the 1,000 years. Searcher |

3 | Only beheaded glorified in Millenium? | Rev 20:5 | Chusarcik | 73611
Are you saying no one except the beheaded will get their glorified bodies until after the Millenium? I'm getting confused, as I was just taught in a Revelation series by Skip Heitzig that all Christians would take part in the first resurrection and all non believers in the second, however, when I read Revelation 20:4-15 myself, it looked more like what you said in your answer, only the beheaded would take part in the first resurrection and therefore would be the only ones with glorified bodies during the Millenium. This seems to make more sense as if all Christians were glorified and ruling during the Millenium there wouldn't be many to rule over. Anyhow, now I'm more confused as to the order of things. Can you clarify with more detail? I'm really trying to learn this correctly according to what the scripture says. Thankyou so much, Chusarcik
4 | Only beheaded glorified in Millenium? | Rev 20:5 | Searcher56 | 73630
Acts 17:11 compels us to check Skip Heitzig and others out. You did well by reading Revelation 20:4-15 yourself. Disregard what anyone says and let Scripture speak for itself, by the Holy Spirit. Do not worry if others disagree ... if you are content you are right.

I think we will go thru the Tribulation, and the ones who were beheaded will be part of the first and be part of the 1,000 years ... then the rest of us will rise again. Searcher
7 | I think I'm starting to get it! | Rev 20:5 | Chusarcik | 73658
So you mean the believers who survive the tribulation will take part in the 1,000 year millennium with their normal, corruptable bodies, will die just like we do now and will receive their glorified bodies at the end of the millenium? I'm sorry to ask so many questions but I'm really trying to understand this and your input is greatly appreciated. Chusarcik
8 | I think I'm starting to get it! | Rev 20:5 | Searcher56 | 73670
Again, this is my view ... you'll have to study it yourself. There are those who think differently. It would be hard to survive a beheading. Those who take part of the millennium will be: - Christ - the resurrected beheaded saints - and those who had not died yet. There could be saints ... we know that there will be those that rec'd the mark (Rev 20:4) - this group's descendents will be deceived by Satan (20:7). Above all remember no matter your view, that if you are a Christian, you will not suffer the second death. Just because some may not be part of the first resurrection, means they will suffer the second death. Mark 16:16 comes to mind ... if I believe and am not baptized does not mean I will be condemned.
