Dear FytRobert, Sorry for the delay in getting back with you but one of the scriptures I referenced is Isaiah 6:1-3. If the angels are crying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts: The whole earth is full of His glory!" then I can only imagine I will be doing the same. Also. Revelation 4 is a beautiful description of the Throne of God and subsequent praise and worship. Plus, Revelation 19:7-10 I reccomend. Papyrus |

Hi Papyrus, Though there was a lapse of time in your reply but it is better late than never. Actually, there was a moment in time I thought I had lost you due to my overly persistance in asking questions. Now that you are back, I am relieved. You see,my knowledge of our Lord Jesus is very shallow and one of the ways to acquire knowledge fast is to ask questions. In this connection, please refer to my personal profile. In your reply, you have quoted Rev.19:7-10. Rev.19:7... For the wedding of the Lamb has come and His Bride has made herself ready" May I ask who is the Lamb and who is the Bride? With Love in Christ. THE LAMB IS CHRIST JESUS, JOHN 1:29,36. THE BRIDE IS THE CHURCH, MARK 2:19-20. CHRIST IS OUR BRIDEGROOM HENCE WE ARE THE BRIDE. IN THE OLD TESTAMENT IT IS SAID THAT HE WILL DIVORCE HIS FIRST BRIDE ISRAEL.According to Jeremiah 31:31-32, God said he was “an husband” to Israel. In Jeremiah 3:8-10 and Isaiah 50:1, God states that he was married to Israel, and gave Israel a bill of divorcement, because Israel committed adultery. WE ARE CHRISTS BRIDE NOW, A SPIRITUAL HOUSE, THOSE WHO ARE CIRCUMSISED IN THE HEART, COLOS 2:11.WE NOW AWAIT THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB, OUR GROOM CHRIST.AND WE COULD SAY THAT WE ALREADY EAT WITH HIM AND HIM WITH US, AS WE HAVE OPENED THE DOOR, SPIRITUAL FOOD AND DRINK.. LOVE IN CHRIST JESUS RCSCROLL. |

Hi Rcscroll, Thanks for the answears which are indeed interesting and question inviting. I now understand that: 1.The Lamb is Christ Jesus and He is also the Bridegroom. 2.The Bride is the Church; the church means its members. So, we are the bride. From the above 1 and 2 the marriage is destined to take place but how can such a marriage be: A. Possible. B. Solemnized? Besides, what is the purpose of this marriage? With Love in Christ. FytRobert, Greetings Please allow me to interject a comment about your post. Since you said that RC's information invited questions, could I please get your comments on my post to RC, about the church being the bride? I am very concerned about this, and like you, am diligently searching for the truth about this subject. I will prayerfully consider any comment. Peace and Blessings, Tim |
