ALL WE HAVE SCRIPTURALLY IS THAT HE WAS A FROM NAZARETH, WHICH WOULD MEAN THAT HE TOOK AN OATH OF A NAZARENE, AND WOULD HAVE HAD LONG HAIR AND BEARD, UN SHAVEN. ISA SAYS THAT HE WOULD NOT BE A GOOD LOOKING MAN THAT ANYONE SHOULD DESIRE HIM.ISA 53:2. WE WOULD HAVE TO SAY BY DEDUCTION THAT HE WOULD IN FACT HAVE BROWN EYES MORE THAN LIKELY BECAUSE OF BEING BORN BY DEVOUT HEBREW JEWS , JOSEPH AND MARY. THERE IS NO SCRIPTURE REFERENCE AT ALL TALKING ABOUT HIM HAVING BLUE EYES.ITS PROBEBLY SOMETHING YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD. LOVE IN CHRIST JESUS RCSCROLL.

RC. "ALL WE HAVE SCRIPTURALLY IS THAT HE WAS A FROM NAZARETH, WHICH WOULD MEAN THAT HE TOOK AN OATH OF A NAZARENE, AND WOULD HAVE HAD LONG HAIR AND BEARD, UN SHAVEN" Are you confusing Jesus being a Nazarene from Nazareth with Jesus being a Nazirite, which is a wholly different thing? Emmaus |

4 | RC, Was Jesus a Nazarite (Num 6:1-21)? | Rev 1:12 | Searcher56 | 79134
Scripture ... Num 6:1-21; Jdg 13:4-7; 1 Sa 1:11; Matt 2:23, 26:29; Mark 5:41; Luke 1:15; John 2:1-10, 4:46, 19:30; Acts 21:24 ... RC, time for a Bible lesson. You are the one misinformed about a Nazarite. Please read Numbers 6:1-21. What does it say? Parents were told, or promised, that their unborn sons were to follow part of the Nazarite vow (Jdg 13:4-7, 1 Sa 1:11, Luk 1:15). Acts 21:24 may be part of a Nazarite vow. As you can see being a Nazarite or taking a Nazarite vow, has nothing to do where someone was from. Matthew 2:23 and other passages tell us Jesus is a Nazarene, one from Nazareth. Mark 5:41 says He touched a body of a dead person, forbidden by a Nazarite (Num 6:6). He also drank wine (Matt 26:29, John 19:30). He make have had some earlier (John 2:1-10, 4:46) Was Jesus a Nazarite? |

5 | RC, Was Jesus a Nazarite (Num 6:1-21)? | Rev 1:12 | RCSCROLL | 79158
Yes I bebleive He was:The Nazirite vow was one that had to have lasted a considerable time else the hair wouldn’t have had opportunity to grow and be seen to be representative of the vow. It would also have been for a specific time duration and would end after that time. After that period, the person would resume his normal life following his offerings to God (Num 6:13-20). |

6 | RC, Was Jesus a Nazarite (Num 6:1-21)? | Rev 1:12 | Searcher56 | 79159
RC ... You have failed to cite Scripture to say He was a Nazarite. Numbers 6:13-20 is not proof about Him. 1. Where does the Bible say He had long hair? 2. When was He a Nazirite, according to the Bible? 3. How long was the Nazirite vow, according to the Bible? I know others who think my Lord Jesus Christ was a Nazarite ... but my Bible says He was a Nazarene. Searcher |
