1 | When is this reign? | Rev 19:14 | Mommapbs | 44285
"I saw thrones and people sitting on them had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those had not worshipped the beast . . . They came to life again and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. This is the first resurrection." Rev 20:4-5 Greetings Steve! The first question I have is WHO are the people sitting on thrones? (I'll have to research this one a bit!) Another thought: is judging the same as reigning? From this reference, it appears (to me) that these who are reigning with Christ are those who came to Christ during the Great Tribulation. I do not see these believers as identified as the Bride or the Church. This is my opinion, and I too am open to correction. Mommapbs PS: So perhaps I learned to ride horses in vain ???? (Please bear with my feeble attempt at humor here!) |

2 | When is this reign? | Rev 19:14 | srbaegon | 44289
Hello Mommapbs I did a quick look at the Study Bible at www.ccel.org. Darby and Gill say those on the thrones are believers (referring back to Daniel 7:9). I see judging as a part of reigning. Both commentators see two groups of people being mentioned--1) those on the thrones and 2) those who lost their lives in the tribulation. Steve Learned riding in vain? No, it just means you'll be better than I when the time comes. :-) |

3 | When is this reign? | Rev 19:14 | Mommapbs | 44291
Rev. 19:14 - "And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses." About this riding thing Steve, how can we equate the armies of heaven with the saints of God? (Great Tribulation saints or raptured believers) Mommapbs |

So many questions. :-) The clothing is the tip. From what I can tell, only the saints are clothed this way. Steve |
