According to the Greek Hebrew Study Bible and Vines, the word sorcery in that verse is translated from the Greek word "pharmakia", and means primarily, medication or medicine, drugs, then poison, magic, and finally, sorcery and witchcraft. PHARMAKON means "a drug, a spell-giving potion; a druggist, ("pharmacist") or poisoner; (by extension) sorcery. Has the Body of Christ so embraced the practice of using "pharmakia" that we don't want to know what it really means or how God feels about it? | ||||||
