1 | What is the nature of the beast (666)? | Rev 13:18 | bobmoy | 443
Here is a possible solution for the nature of the beast. What do you think? Assign a number to every letter in our English alphabet. A is 1, J is 10, E is 5, S is 19, U is 21, S is 19, I is 9. Add the numbers in the name of Jesus since he was without sin. Jesus would be the opposite of the beast. The numbers in the name of Jesus add up to 74. Now divide 666 by 74 to get the number of the man or the nature of the beast. The answer is 9. The letter I is 9. I,my human nature, selfishness, am the beast and the nature of the beast. When I am selfish, I am like the animal in all of us. When I love, I am like Jesus the Christ. Thus the verse tells us about ourslves. This is the battle between my human nature and my spiritual nature. When I become born again and receive the additional power that comes entering the Kingdom of God (God, Jesus, Holy Spirit) that is now within me, my spiritual nature has great power. By growing in unconditional love, my human nature of being selfish is reduced, eliminated and can be destroyed except for the thorn in my flesh. Would enjoy feedback. Have a delightful day.
2 | What is the nature of the beast (666)? | Rev 13:18 | Alive | 449
First of all, you must admit that the name of Jesus is not english. Nor is the number 666 english. Jesus was a Jew, and his name in peoples mouth were "Joshua". Me, as a swedish man, has another alphabeth then the english one. Also the greek differs from the english, as well as the hebrew. If we are to get involved in telling and counting - at least we have to hold on to the original languages. If we are supposed to do these countings, addings and dividings, is another question. How do you know that the number 666 should be divided in 76, to get the right understanding of the number? Why isn't it supposed to be subtraction och multiplication? The world "calculate", I think, is not supposed to be understood as should we be mathematical genius to understand the bible, but furthermore that we must have the knowledge of the spirit, that Paul tells us about in Ephesians. There are more things to be asked in this matter, but let him who has understanding calculate... Excuse my bad english... |
