Scripture ... Psa 52:8; Jer 11:16; Zec 4:1-14; Rev 11:1-7 ... one4christ, Greetings and welcome to the forum Let's look at the context -- from the immediate to the whole Bible. We see this is related to the two witnesses in the immediate context. We see a similiar scene elsewhere (Zec 4:1-14), where we see the olive trees are the anointed to serve the Lord. Then it was Zerubbabel and Joshua. In Revelation it is the two witnesses. The source of enablement in both cases is the Spirit of the Lord. The lampstands need the olive tree oil for its light. Hope this helps, Searcher |
