Sorry to but in, but this is kinda confusing for a blonde like me : ) Okay. Let me get this straight. Jesus is an ordinary man (except that he was born of a virgin, etc) with the Holy Spirit as his soul? fully God, but fully man? He is the Lord, and he has been given authority over everything. He died as a final sacrifical Lamb, but showed his authority over death by rising on the third day. Am I correct on all points? thanks. 2 Tim 2:15–Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. NASB |

All I do is point to the Word. But I'm reminded of a humorous story I heard at Aish Hatorah one time. :-) "What is the source of your wisdom, Rabbi?" a student once asked his teacher. "Good choices, son," the Rabbi replied. "But how did you come to make such good choices?" asked the student. "By experience," the Rabbi answered. "And how did you receive such experience, Rabbi?" persisted the student. The Rabbi smiled, "Bad choices, son, bad choices." Whew... can I identify with that! :-) |
