2 | Remarriage Continual Adultery? | 1 John 1:8 | christian7 | 96019 | ||
dat....I would first like to say that others on this forum may be able to help you more on this but I feel that it is important that you know something. Sin is an act of doing something. You nor I can continually do something. If it were stealing for an example, we could steal something but we can't continually steal. We are under a period of Grace. God forgives us when we ask and turn away from what we are doing wrong in our lives. If you have already remarried you can't undo that. You just have to start from where you are. Lets take your question. To say that the Lord won't forgive you for making a mistake in getting a divorce to someone is a lie. God still forgives. Then you went and married someone else and His word says that Matthew 5:32.But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. Now God is Truth and to do this is commiting Adultery. So you married again. The sin is committed. Now whats done is done and you can't act like it didn't happen, or go back and change anything. Now to divorce again would be going back to where you started to begin with. This is where Grace steps in. We all make mistakes and God is ready to forgive us when we come to Him with a sincere heart and confess our sin. Once we do that He cleanses us from all unrighteousness. The enemy tries to tell you that your domed for hell, but Jesus says come unto me. You have to recieve your forgiveness from the Lord and move on. God understands everything and knows you personally and will in no wise cast out those that come to Him. You just have to trust His word. The answer to your Question is NO! God is the Judge of who gets into heaven. You would just have to refuse Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to miss heaven. 1 John 1:8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Matthew12:31. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Acts13:38. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39. And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Ephesians 1:7. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; God Bless |
