There was a recent death in my family, is it alright to pray to them? And I don't mean like how you pray to the Lord, I man, just as if your talking to them, is it ok to do? | ||||||

sailordancemix- I am sorry for your loss. It is hard. 2 Samuel 18:33 tells how David mourned after the death of his son, Absolam and called out his name. I don't believe he thought that Absolam actually heard him, he was just grieving. But instead of talking to your dead, talk to God. HE will hear you and give you comfort. If your loved one died in Christ, he/she is right now worshipping Him face-to-face, and I don't know how long it would take before he would want to take his focus off of Him. May the Lord Jesus give you an extra measure of peace and may you recognize His joy in the middle of your grief. Debbie |
