1 | God accepted a human sacrifice? | Deut 12:31 | Hercurob | 59400
I'm having difficulties reconciling my faith in our loving God with the fact I just read in Judges that he accepted a human sacrifice, the daughter of Jophetheh, the judge. How does this reconcile with Jesus' teachings?
2 | God accepted a human sacrifice? | Deut 12:31 | kalos | 59401
Offering a human sacrifice is against God's revealed will. AMPLIFIED Deuteronomy 12:31 You shall not do so to the Lord your God, for every abominable thing which the Lord hates they have done for their gods. For even their sons and their daughters they have burned in the fire to their gods. Hercurob: Many people did many things that are recorded in the Bible. Neither the fact that they did them nor the fact that their words and deeds are recorded in the Bible means that God accepted, approved or condoned what they did. Grace to you, kalos |
