Hello! What exactly does this mean..... "Faith without works is dead." What sort of "work" am I supposed to be doing, along with having faith for something? I have an idea of what this may mean, but I'd like to hear your input. Thank you! God bless!
2 | Faith without works is dead. What mean? | James 2:26 | Val | 197481
It means that you will act on your faith. You will mature in the faith. You will grown in your faith. It is speaking of a genuine saving faith. The examples are given there in James such as Abraham and Rahab. Abraham offered his son. Rahab helped the spies escape. A study of the entire book of James will help you to see what genuine faith is and what is meant by works. May God bless. |
