2 | Hearing with faith? | Heb 6:4 | Ray | 144312 | ||
Hi Quill and forum members, Have disputes raged for hundreds of year because of uncertainty over whether we have been born of the Spirit or of spirit? Hebrews 5:8, NKJ, "And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, 9 called by God as High Priest/ "according to the order of Melchizedek," 10 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing." Contrast/compare Galatians 3:2, "This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit/, are you now being perfected by the flesh?" Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ/ lives in me;..." From the heart, Ray |

What differences would we as English speaking/writing persons see between God's Spirit and God's spirit? From the heart, Ray |
