1 | Obedience a choice? | Heb 5:8 | seedling | 149462
Hebrews 5:8 confuses me...Why did Jesus, being the almighty God, needed to learn obediience thru suffering? I thought Jesus automatically was obedient! Was this a choice for him? seedling |

2 | Obedience a choice? | Heb 5:8 | Lionstrong | 149536
He Learned from Things He Suffered This is our example of growing in obedience! As a true man Christ was ignorant, that is, he could learn because he didn't know everything. As a true man he could learn to obey God more. Now, for me it is a move from disobeying more and obeying less to disobeying less and obeying more; for Christ it was a matter of going from obedience to more obedience. If the Sinless One had to learn odedience from the things he suffered, how much more us saved sinners!? |
