in the book of hewbrews chpt.2:2,3 the aurthor talks about how the children of israel were punished for every act of disobedence while in the wilderness, then he goes on to say how shall we escape if we are indifferent to this great salvation. Does this mean we to are punished for every act of disobedence. Salvation is deliverence from the powere of sin, but the bible tell us that if we say we have no sin we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us 1 john 1:8. AND also arnt we deliverd from the power of sin. | ||||||

princesscory79, greetings ... The Law dictated the punishment for every violation and disobedience. However, we aren't punished, neither were the Israelites. I thought about David's sins. We will be punished if we ignore the salvation provided. But, it doesn't mean we are without sin ... just saved from the punishment (hell). Hope this helps, Searcher |
