1 | Is eternal life possible right now? | Heb 1:1 | amadeuse | 15439
I have been recieving revelations from the Holy Spirit, after recieving the annointing over 4 yrs ago. I am able to speak in tongues at will, in various distinguishable languages, not the repetitive babbling that so many so called televised preachers do. I am currently making a tape of my speech and sending it to be analysed. I am praying for gift of interpretation as well, but seem to notice that the speech i utter is some direct reference to a question or observation of something i am aware of in that instant. It is like the Holy Spirit makes a commentary about the thought, or observation i have just had. The words just form in my mouth, my tongue and mouth moves to make the words. God said that it is him that gives me utterance. I have experiences, at least 4 times so far, that just before waking, i have revelations. My mind seems to be expanding, falling into some infinite expanse of understanding and knowledge pertaining to the universe, and spiritual principles. I am at a higher level of edification than many preachers are. I believe church is a waste of time, just a money making enterprise, if for decades the members in it learn, but never recieve the annointing. Without recieving the Holy Spirit, true knowledge of God cannot come. It is the HOly Spirit that reveals God to you, and then once having experienced Him like me, you become insatiably hungry for HIm. I can't get enough and want to be one with God, above all things. This kind of zeal cannot be developed by one's own initiative, it only comes from experiencing God from having the annointing of His Spirit. I believe all churches should focus on leading people to recieve the Holy Spirit. There are scriptures that reveal the path to recieving the annointing. FOr me it happened when i called the True Name of God, over and over.(They that call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. The Name of the Lord, not his title.) Are there others out there that have this constant edification and revelation and irrefutable influence from the Spirit of God? If you get tired of pursuing God, you definitely do not have His Spirit, and therefore, you are not saved. You rely on the dilligence of your own resolve, to comply with his principles, but the Spirit of God is not in you revealing Him to you to cause you to obey. YOu obey from your initiative, which intermittently gets compromised by desires of the flesh. When you experience the revelation of God, you have visions and dreams, and edification that cause your desires to change, it is so real to you, not something your imagination is straining to concieve, which you soon get tired of doing when you really haven't 'tasted' of the goodness of God. God said, If you shall seek me with all of your heart, all of your mind and all of your stregnth, then you shall find Him. When you find HIm, believe me, YOu will never want to let go, You will have visions and revelations and dreams that cause you to want Him above all things, and see that the old state of existence you had is dull in comparison. It will change you permanently and constantly until you are perfected. YOu will know you have his Favor, because all your prayers get answered in an instant. You gain real power that is constantly growing. I can't get enough of God and grow hungrier for Him each second. Once just before waking, I caught a glimpse of my body, and I saw beams of light shooting out from it. I had a dream where i was nestled in a cloud, and the Spirit of God was feeding me nurishment that appeared as baby food, but i was made to understand it was spiritual knowledge that was going to lead to my having eternal life. I was also made to know that eternal life is available now, not necessarily after the resurrection only. There is a verse that says, they that leave house and family for the sake of the kingdom shall inherit much more in this 'age', and in the 'age to come', eternal life. I think this is what people misunderstand 'age to come' as after the resurrection, when it merely means after 'the kingdom of heaven is come', which did when Christ was resurrected. 2 | Is eternal life possible right now? | Heb 1:1 | kalos | 15440
NKJV Colossians 2 18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, TEV Colossians 2 18 Do not allow yourselves to be condemned by anyone who claims to be superior because of special visions . . . For no reason at all, such people are all puffed up by their human way of thinking. Like virtually all cults and false religions, the Colossian false teachers based their teaching on visions and revelations they had supposedly received. Their claims were false, since Jesus Christ is God's final and complete revelation to mankind (Heb. 1:1,2). New King James Version Hebrews 1 1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, Today's English Version Hebrews 1 1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors many times and in many ways through the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son. |

3 | your argument proves my point! | Heb 1:1 | amadeuse | 15445
the verses you cited just further stregnthened my claim. Of course during the days of the apostles, God spoke through Jesus Christ, instead of some lowly human prophet. Of course Jesus Christ was the word of God in flesh, so why would God reveal anything to anyone except to Him in the days He walked among the apostles. And that same Jesus said it was important for Him to go to The Father so He could send back the comforter, who would come to teach believers and reveal God to them. Read the following JOhn 14: 26-27 " But the Helper, The HOly Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your rememberance all that I said to you". Joel 2:28 I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy. Your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams... before the glorius day of the Lord shall come... ephesians 1:17-that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of HIm'. Again somewhere it is written' They shall be taught of God'. Throw away your tired notions of holiness. The word of God is true as it says, that it is the Holy Spirit that reveals God to men. From your reaction, you have never experienced God so truly, and your growth is from the labors and discernment of your own intellect. YOu would not doubt what I am saying is true, if you have the Spirit of God in you. I am not an idiot to seek any kind of vain glory. The reason I am describing this experience is because it is absolute truthful experience of the word of God. I am giving that evidence to confirm the word of God, to lead people to a stronger faith in God, away from an understanding that is without power. People believe in God, having a form of holiness, but deny the power thereof. That sounds like you. Too bad for you, you have not had these wonderful of experiences of God. I am not interested in getting you to believe anything about me, only about the word of God which says His Holy Spirit will reveal Him to believers, and to have a stronger faith in the power of the word of God, not just an intellectual awareness. I don't care if you believe me or not, God is really my witness of these experiences. |

4 | your argument proves my point! | Heb 1:1 | Bill Mc | 15449
Dear Amadeuse, "In these last days (God) has spoken to us in His Son...and HE (Christ) is the radiance of His glory and the EXACT representation of His (God's nature." Yes, the Holy Spirit will lead us into ALL truth, and the focal point is that Jesus Christ is the TRUTH. Christ alone is the EXACT representation of God and His nature and one of the things that the Holy Spirit does is to reveal Christ through the illumination of God's Word. Brother, your post is replete with the exaltation of 'experience' - your experiences. I must, in love, caution you. Everyone's 'experiences' are different. And experiences can lead us astray from the truth. We must subject our experiences to the truth of God's Word. We accept Christ by FAITH, we walk in Him by FAITH. "As you have accepted Christ, so walk IN HIM." Faith is accepting what God says as true, whether our experiences verify it or not. Brother, people do not need to have a 'stronger faith.' The amount or capacity of faith is not the issue. The OBJECT of faith is the issue. Everyone has faith in someone or something. Faith doesn't save. Faith IN Christ saves. CHRIST is the object of the Christian faith. If you are truly 'experiencing' God, great. But I urge you to submit those experiences to the Word to discern if they are valid or not. Also, it may not be intentional, but your post is coming across as one-upmanship i.e. 'I have more of God than you do.' If you, brother, truly have the Spirit of God in you, Christ never bragged about Himself. Christ said, "What I say, the FATHER has told Me to say. The works I do, the FATHER has told Me to do. I don't do anything or say anything UNLESS the FATHER tells Me to." God the Father was His total source while Christ was here on earth. And, now that He is seated at the right hand of God, the Holy Spirit reveals Christ as our total source. Frankly, I don't believe that Christ would say what you have said in the way you have said it. There is ONE body of Christ, the church, and there is ONE Holy Spirit. And scripture says that if you don't have the Holy Spirit, you don't belong to Christ. The primary evidence of that is the outworking of love for Christ's body, other believers. You can't say that you love the head, Christ, and then disdain His body, we the church. Christ said that we should love God first and then each other as God loves us. We can't do this apart from His enablement. God STILL speaks through Jesus Christ. Christ IS the Word of God, not WAS. Look at the example laid before us in scripture. Christ, while on earth, did not glorify Himself or His 'experiences.' He IS God incarnate, yet He didn't brag about having 'wonderful experiences' from God that no one else had. And Paul exhibited the same attitude. Paul was caught up to heaven and had a revelation directly from Christ. He could have bragged about it. But he didn't. He said, "If I'm gonna boast about anything, it will be Jesus Christ and what He has done. I, Paul, am nothing." Of course, he was also given a thorn in the flesh to keep him humble. Have you received THAT revelation? In Christ, Bill Mc |

5 | your argument proves my point! | Heb 1:1 | amadeuse | 15673
I am admonished by the Spirit of God to be mindful of what I write here. Since I testify of the Spirit of God, I must not say anything that will cause others to speak ill of that Holy Spirit that has annointed me. Bill is the only one that gets the point of my original post, that the Holy Spirit is available now to give Revelation and power and eternal life to the saved!. The rest of you chose to digress to making acusations about my character, which reveal the shortcomming of you the accusers. Not believing what i said is possible, you conclude I am decieved, and trying to elevate myself. Just like the pharisees accused Christ of blasphemy when He testified about knowing God, they not believing that to be possible attacked Him. So what if i brag about being in contact with the God of the universe. That is truly something that is amazing . God alone is worthy to be boasted of. You who call yourselves Christians should know that power and eternal life and heaven is now. Christ said he went to the Father so he could send the Spirit to transform us, intercede for us to God, that we might be able to do greater works than even He did. 'He', raised the dead, walked on water, healed the sick, had eternal life in Him, delivered people from bondage of satan. We are expected to do this and more, by enabling of the Holy Spirit. But we forsake this, settling instead for a lower standard of holiness, which consists in disciplined church going. we also believe the dilligence of this human searching is tantamount to 'worship' . The truth is w/o the Holy Spirit, it is not possible to worship God. We believe that dilligent 'christianity' will be rewarded by entering heaven 'after we die'. The truth is, if you have the Holy Spirit, not only do you not die, but you are led to the Kingdom of Heaven within you now!. You are imbued with power and grow from glory to glory now. Then there are others who say, it is not about having power but love. But the love they speak of here is a mere human striving to will and do good to others. The Love as enabled by the Holy Spirit, is the Essence of God, manifest in the saved, it's a refreshing, restoring 'Power' that transforms all things to the glory of God. It is why when you touched Christ you healed. That Love is not mere desire, but the restoring Essence of GOd. Without the Holy Spirit, that Love is not possible to manifest, NOlan Keck. It is written, 'NO one can say 'Jesus is Lord' except by the Spirit', 'They that worship God, worship in SPirit and in truth' 'praise is beautiful in the mouth of the Holy'. These things mean that without the Holy Spirit, even our 'worship' is not acceptable to God. The so called 'sacrifice of praise' people sing, is a mere use of words to try and persuade God, which is futile w/o the sanctifiying of the Holy Spirit. It amounts to nothing more than attempt at flattery. It does not cause you to be blessed to merely speak well of God, even though you feel good, and are sincere about it. When the annointed say 'Praise God',it is from the revelation of God's magnificence that the Holy Spirit gives to them. That 'worship' is in spirit and in truth. The speech of the annointed also has spiritual impact, it causes the Holy Spirit to manifest, make the environment Holy. Like God did not accept sacrifice from anyone in the old days but the annointed priests, so the worship of those that are not annointed do not have impact. Without the Holy Spirit, you are not a member of the body of Christ, even if you attend church dilligently and sincerely. YOu can also not be of any good to the body, to edify it with advanced mysteries, heal them, free them from death and hell. YOur so called 'membership', 'fellowship' and 'service' is just in human terms, and to human emotional or physical needs, Steve and Nolan. If i have provoked you people, It is well that i should. You should all be wondering why it is you do not have the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and are not growing in power and knowledge and virtue like Christ who is our example did. The Holy Spirit is what grafts you to Christ, so that you bear fruit., ie prophecy, eternal life, power to heal, Holy transforming Love. It's not optional. Some also believe they are saved by 'relying on the sacrifice of Christ'.Christ sacrifice was so that He could be the Final Sacrifice, and have power to intercede for you. But you are not in Christ by believing in the power of His sacrifice, but by recieving His Holy Spirit in you to sanctify you. The prophets of old died before Christ was sacrificed, yet they entered heaven anyway b/c they were sanctified by GOd. Seek the annointing. Fast, call upon the Name of the Lord. Charis, the Name is Yaweh. Bill, you are right, eternal life is now, and so is power and revelation and acess to heaven now, by the Holy SPirit. This is the true good news and the power of the gospel that should be preached. |
